oh no cute little lady

Elros looks at the little lady - and lady she certainly seems to be - and bows to her gallantly.

"My lady has but to ask - I cannot promise anything, but I can certainly try!"

"I seek a chivalrous knight. Do you know of any?" she is entirely - almost deathly - serious, "I have lost my way and I cannot travel during the hours of day."

Let's just say she has a certain condition that prevents it.

lol and he's feeling too tall

Elros kneels, to bring him closer to her height.

"That is a bad situation indeed! I would trust any of my men, little lady, or I could go with you instead, if you like? Where are you going?"

she is gonna get a neck ache!

"To the mountains or a graveyard." she considers the merits of both, frowning, "Where are you most likely to find bats?"

Oh, and, because this is important:

"Are you afraid of heights?"

He will carry her?

He blinks.

"The graveyard seems a very grim place for a lady such as yourself! But bats, I believe, mostly like dark quiet places. There are some caves nearby that might suit."

He smiles and shakes his head. "Not I!"

She's fine with that. He can be her new hero.

She looks down, a little uncomfortable at his comment.

"There are few places we may go." Anna suddenly smiles, bright and true, giving a tiny bounce, "I can take us there if you show me the way?" and she holds out her hand for him to take.

He bows and accepts her hand gravely.

"I know the way to those closest. Would you ride with me?"

[littleromantic]

"We don't need to ride!" she grips his hand tightly and lifts them both into the air.

He yelps, startled.

"What?!?"

She giggles and swings their hands between them.

"You're safe as long as I don't let go!"

He pales and clings tighter.

"Then I pray milady does not! I am not my mother, to wear a seabird's wings!"

[littleromantic]

"Your mother is a bird?" Anna carries them to the clouds so they won't be easily seen, "Mine is a bat!"

[tar_minyatur]

"No - but there is a family history of skinchangers, and it seems my mother is more like her grandmother than she knew."
